OMP Plus brings End-to-End Supply Chain Visibility to Allergopharma

biopharmaceutical company focused on allergy treatments, recently implemented OMP Plus as supply chain planning system of record, to support its centralized Global Supply Chain organization. The solution covers all levels of a complex multi-level supply chain, extending from raw materials to finished products. Additionally, the solution creates value by integrating related business functions, including Regulatory Affairs and QA/QC.

The key business driver for this project was to establish an integrated and future proof supply chain management capability. With a planning horizon of 3 years, Allergopharma can now meet demand and supply in the most efficient way, effectively manage launches and further shorten planning and execution cycles. Attribute-based planning is the main enabler for this integrated biopharma planning. OMP Plus pegs all supply chain levels together while still respecting constraints, such as keeping the same bulk origin for packs of multiple dosage types or country-specific minimum remaining shelf life constraints.
